Interventional Pain Management Physician

Richmond Spine Interventions and Pain Center is growing! We are seeking a fellowship trained Pain Management Physician to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate would play a vital role in providing quality, safe and compassionate care in a supportive and fast paced interventional pain management clinic. We offer a variety of services to our patients including spine and joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation and kyphoplasty.


The ideal candidate would have training and experience in cervical, thoracic and lumbar fluoroscopy guided injections. Schedule would be Monday-Friday.


Provider Duties:

  • Provides patient care by interviewing, examining and treating clinic patients.
  • Educates patients and families treatment options, and test results
  • Provides referrals based on examinations and patient needs
  • Participates in quality improvement, management, continuing education (CEU), and patient care programs
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient information according to federal guidelines and regulations
  • Completes medical records (EMR) documentation daily


Minimum Requirements:

Hold active Virginia Medical License (MD or DO) prior to start date, and maintain active licensure

DEA license required. Active CPR/ACLS certificate required (American Heart Association/American Red Cross guideline approved).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Interventional pain management experience
  • Experience in cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine injections under fluoroscopy guidance
