Department Packaging Operations Employment Type Full Time ** WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**
Forklift operators move our product - whether it's loading or unloading product for transportation, wrapping finished product, or moving product around the facility. Forklift operators must be safety-minded and have good attention to detail.
** Essential Duties**
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift and perform required daily inspection Read and understand Bills of Lading and pick sheets Using daily pick sheet, pick full and partial pallets, wrap pallets when necessary, stage product for loading, check pallets for accuracy to order Check product to be shipped for accuracy per customer orders Maintain clean and organized isles and rack storage, consolidate partial pallets when needed Performing periodic quality control checks to ensure product is staged and shipped according to customer requirements Communicate with management and maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance and repairs. Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area. Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures including timely and accurate documentation of required SQF forms.
Perform other duties as assigned by Shipping Supervisor or Plant Manager. ** EXTRAS**
