My client is looking for PC Hardware warranty Field Service Technicians in Florida


You will be joining the team based in Florida, working towards providing the best Service to their clients! They are offering organic career progression from day one.


Responsibilities:


  • Deliver onsite technical hardware support and repair services for a range of devices including Laptops, Desktops, Workstations, Tablets, and related equipment, catering to both commercial and residential clients.
  • Perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on IT products.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and meet contractual obligations.
  • Demonstrate strong customer support skills and maintain timely communication with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate efficiently.
  • Manage multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Complete all administrative duties following established policies and guidelines for each service call.
  • Execute routine maintenance tasks within agreed-upon timelines, such as parts administration.
  • Accept and fulfill service calls within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and company standards for each client.
  • Adhere to company security, safety, technical, and quality standards and procedures to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Additional requirements may apply upon extension of employment offer.


Skills:


  • Ability to lift and move various computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Possess required certifications for PC repairs.
  • Must have a basic repair tool kit, personal computer, and mobile cellular phone.


Accountabilities:


  • Obtain necessary certifications for PC repairs.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and effective break-fix repairs on Laptop and Desktop PCs.
  • Possess working knowledge of operating systems, hardware, commonly used software, and standard applications.
  • Install, test, and configure desktops, laptops, tablets, etc.
  • Utilize software images for operating system installations.
  • Perform upgrades and component replacements including memory, hard drives, SSDs, screens, keyboards, etc.
  • Manage parts inventory in line with return deadlines.
  • Update the system in real-time and complete tasks accordingly.


Experience:


  • Typically, secondary/high school education with a relevant technical qualification and 12 months + of relevant work experience.
  • PC certifications and/or repair experience are preferred.
  • Experience with deskside support and ticket management tools is advantageous.
