FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Salary D.O.E. Weiser Memorial Hospital offers competitive salaries and great benefits. Job Summary:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for the billing process between the hospital and patients including insurance companies, federal agencies and third-party payers. The Billing Specialistaudits patient accounts to ensure procedure, charges, and coding accuracy. TheBilling Specialistcollects payments from commercial companies, state, and federal agencies.

Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proficiency in data entry using PC based software.
- Thorough understanding of different insurance plans, government agencies, Medicare and Medicaid.
- Previous billing experience.
- Ability to communicate in English both verballing and in writing.
- Bilingual Preferred.
