Minimum Education:
Work Experience: - Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar technical support role.
- Experience with troubleshooting computer systems, networks, and peripheral devices.
Job Duties: - Provide technical assistance to computer system users through various channels including in-person support, telephone, or remote assistance.
- ddress and resolve computer-related issues promptly and efficiently.
- ssist users with hardware and software problems, including but not limited to printing, software installation, word processing, email setup, and operating system troubleshooting.
- Perform tasks such as entering commands at computer terminals and configuring peripheral devices.
- Monitor system operations and respond to error messages, ensuring smooth functioning of computer systems.
- nalyze data and possess strong data entry skills for accurate information processing.
Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of PC function, troubleshooting and associated software.
- Proficiency in a variety of software applications beyond basic Office Suite packages.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Misc. Information: - Shift Days/Times: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 5:00 pm.
- Parking: OGS provides paid parking in Albany. Street parking and private garage parking available in New York City.
- Public transportation: CDTA provides bus service in Albany, MTA NYCT provides bus and subway service in New York City.
- Interviews will be conducted on-site.
