Essential Duties and Key Objective:

The Assistant Technical Designer will support with day-to-day responsibilities that includes measuring samples, entering measurements in PLM, tracking of fit samples, and updating google sheets, organizing fit sample libraries, responding to vendor emails, updating fit outlooks/fit lists, supporting fit sessions with note taking and photos, supporting with the implementation of PLM and building standard operating procedures/manuals. Keeping an organized determent with samples racked by season and tagged correctly. There will be some weekly visits to domestic suppliers to pick up and drop off patterns, fabric, cut work and sewing.


Skills and Responsibilities:

- Minimum 3 5+ years Technical Design experience

- Apparel related Associate's or Bachelor s degree from a fashion school

- Must possess a strong knowledge of garment construction, fit standards and understanding of pattern making, grading rules and specification packages

- Experience working with overseas factories and vendors

-Excellent attention to detail and time management

-Preferably experience with WFX PLM and Illustrator

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively and accurately

- Ability to work collaboratively and independently

- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, must be able to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize work

- Preferably; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop/Acrobat
