Product Manager

to join our team in Holland, MI. As a leading compression solution provider, we are not just a company that manufactures products. We are a global team on a mission to help people feel their best. The Product Manager manages the SIGVARIS GROUP medically complex product portfolio that includes inelastic wraps, lymphedema garments and bandaging supplies. As a member of the North American Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for the performance of existing product lines and new product launches in the US, Canada and Mexico. You will also be involved in networking with global product development teams as well as product development and adaptation for global markets. You will collaborate broadly across the Executive Leadership Team, Product Marketing Team, Product Development Team, and Field Sales Teams to develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to drive adoption and utilization of compression products. In addition, you will also be responsible for overall profitability and data-driven recommendations related to your product line.This is a remote position; however, you must reside within 3-hour travel distance to Holland, MI, or the company's headquarters in Peachtree City, GA.The incumbent in this position is expected to travel domestically up to 35% of the time.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Research and analysis:Researches and analyzes market conditions, market data, market intelligence, clinical research and trends, and identifies key market, competitor and/or consumer trends.Recommends market requirements and opportunities - builds appropriate business plans for new product ideas.Collects and consolidates Voice of Customer feedback to inform Sales & Marketing teams of challenges and opportunities with current and newly launched products.Collaborates with innovation project teams within North America and Globally.Produces monthly dashboard reports on all key analytics for assigned products in order to create actionable insights.Product Planning and Management:Defines the go-to-market strategy of new products and manages products through all points of the product lifecycle.Works with the Sales and Operations teams to develop the most effective pricing strategies.Creates packaging, instructions for use, updates, notifications and other product related literature.Works with Purchasing to negotiate with suppliers as needed.Manages and communicates with cross functional teams as the product owner.Creates and tracks key metrics of product life cycles to leverage data that informs marketing and sales strategies and opportunities.Develops and influences key customer relationships by participating in field rides, providing product demonstrations to customers and clinicians, collaborating with National Account Managers.Collaborates and develops value propositions and messaging for new product launches.Identifies and develops Product Champions for existing and newly launched products across clinical specialties and customer types.Maintains a front-line presence for the customer experience, assisting Sales with critical troubleshooting and raising product performance issues.Develops impactful training content for the Field Sales team with Sales Training for new product launches, competitive products, etc.Creates business plans or other strategic plans and gains Director of Marketing's approval.Product Marketing:Develops product marketing plans and campaigns to generate assigned product line awareness and demand.Develops go-to-market plans for any product launches within your assigned product lines.Works with other members of the marketing team to promote products - especially where similar products can be leveraged to grow multiple channel areas.Serves as the assigned product line's knowledge and technical expert.Conducts product presentations as appropriate at internal sales meetings.Works with the Marketing Communications, Medical Education and the Graphics team to develop sales tools and works with Sales Training to support any necessary sales training materials.Identifies and develops key Customers and Key Opinion Leaders to improve product adoption and utilization.Partners with Medical Education and Field Sales on US conferences and trade shows, education events, focus groups, and Key Customer events, to deliver impactful product information, presentations, and ensure the key product messaging is included in sponsored presentations and customer interactions.Provides dashboard updates to the Sales Team on latest research and marketing information.Executes marketing plan in conjunction with all departments and under the supervision of the Director of Marketing.Coordinates market research to track customer and end-user feedback on new product designs or product positioning - for assigned product lines.Demonstrates effective communication and professionalism:Fosters positive morale among staff, by promotion of open communication with all departments, to help create and maintain an innovative and cooperative staff relationship and environment.Interacts with external and internal customers in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships.Displays patience, courtesy and tact; demonstrates flexibility, enthusiasm and willingness to cooperate while working with others.Director of Marketing and/or appropriate management staff are kept informed of developments affecting their functions.Responds quickly to all oral and written communications.Maintains and encourages an open line of communication with both internal and external customers.Checks and responds to voice mail messages in a timely manner.Accurately and legibly presents written data to affected internal/external customers.Follows established company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGAVRIS policies, FDA regulations, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws.Follows all work instructions, creates and maintains accurate records to meet all internal and external requirements to support the SIGVARIS Quality System and Quality Policy.Accurately performs any other duties and as assigned to ensure an efficient workflow.RequirementsEDUCATION and/or WORK EXPERIENCE:Must have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering or Life Sciences from an accredited institution. MBA/Advanced degree preferred.A minimum of three years of marketing experience, brand and/or product management experience is required or a combination of marketing and related business experience, healthcare experience preferred.Demonstrated product launch experience in the last three years.SKILLS:Demonstrated financial and modeling skillsStrong customer facing skills including being comfortable presenting to large audiencesFluent in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookREQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES:Exceptionally strong communication, organization, and presentation skills are required.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong research and analytical skills and comfort with CRM softwareA willingness to listen and ability to think creatively and innovativelyBudget-management skills and proficiencyProfessional judgment and discretion that comes from years of experience in the field.Analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:This job operates in a office and manufacturing environment (production floor).
