What You'll Do: - Participate in training sessions to learn proper techniques for operating cutting torches.
- Assist experienced operators in setting up and preparing torch equipment for cutting tasks.
- Gain proficiency in safely operating heavy machinery such as forklifts, cranes, and loaders under the guidance of experienced operators.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting torch and machinery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working in both torch and heavy equipment operation environments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and completion of tasks within specified timelines.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both torch and machinery operation skills.
Minimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical principles and equipment operation is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in torch and machinery operation.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines at all times.
