Responsibilities
As a Construction Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing financial aspects of our construction projects
Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our projects are completed within budget and that we maximize profitability
Uploads and maintains project budgets in ERP system
Setup subcontracts and change orders
Reviews and codes invoices to ensure correct project allocations
Makes monthly equipment entries
Prepares G/L and Job Cost journal entries
Prepares and maintains the monthly Job Status Report
Periodically reviews purchase order setup and entries for accuracy
Tracks receipts and compliance for processing subcontractor payments
Prepare ad hoc reports as needed by operations and accounting
Tracks, maintains, and procures Business Licenses
Facilitate month-end closing activities
Provide information, as requested, for the annual audit
