**Positions to support a Blast Induced Neurotrauma division** Location **MD - Silver Spring** Job Code **8534** # of openings **13** The Alakaina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for **talent to support a Blast Induced Neurotrauma division** in a variety of positions. The goal of the program is to understand, prevent, and treat the myriad and generally poorly understood threats to soldier health and performance that primarily act neurocognitively. Work will be performed out of Silver Spring, MD.

**POTENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:**
* **Scientific Support:** Brain Trauma Research Support Services; Research Associate Support Services; Overpressure Field Study Research Support Services; Laboratory Technical Support Services; Animal Behavior Research Support; and Statistical Support Services.
* **Clinical Research Support:** Experimental Sleep and Performance Study Research Support Services; Clinical Research Coordination Support Services; Experimental Human Stress Study Support Services; Psychophysiology Relationship Investigation Support Services; Polysomnographic Support Services; Experimental Human Stress Study Support Services; and Clinical Monitoring Support.
* **Operational Support:** Program and Operational Management; Protocol Review Support; Review and Update Resilience Training Programs; and Administrative and Clerical Support Services.
**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:**
* Experience and skills in basic and applied research that promotes psychological resilience, neurological functioning, and operational readiness as well as develop evidence-based strategies to diagnose, prevent, and mitigate the effects of psychological demands, continuous operations, and brain trauma on the health and well-being of soldiers.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:**
* Some positions may required certifications or licenses that must be maintained as current, active, valid, and unrestricted or other authorizing document such as certification or registration
