**Logistics Support Specialist is** responsible and accountable for replenishment of inventory for all finished goods locations, Rheem, Public, and Consigned including tracking all replenishment orders from the time placed, through scheduling and shipping, to receipt at the respective warehouses. The product replenished includes both the items Rheem manufactures and some of the products ordered from outside vendors for resale. This position also works closely with the order center to ensure the customer needs are met and with shared services to process bills for warehouse expenses. Additionally, responsible, and accountable, in the absence of supervisors, for providing resolution of and decisions concerning issues inclusive of processing damage and loss claims with the freight carriers, routing of shipments, tracking and expediting loads and warehouse order management.

This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in **Montgomery, AL**

* Manage and control inventory needed to meet customer's requests in each warehouse and place replenishment orders to maintain the levels needed.

* Maintain the integrity of the inventory on the system for all warehouse locations.

* Track all customer orders through the warehouses to ensure they are all received, shipped and processed through the system in a timely manner.

* Identify customer orders that have product ordered that is not available through the warehouse where the order has been placed and communicate with the appropriate order center representative so the order can be revised thus reducing backorders and increasing customer satisfaction.

* Track all replenishment orders placed through the plants and warehouses to ensure product is being made for the warehouse replenishment.

* Work with production scheduling in plants to coordinate replenishment of all warehouses to include determining which items are most crucial during times when not all items can be produced.

* Contact and resolve any issues with the public warehouses concerning orders and supplies needed to fill orders such as elements and labels.

* Resolve issues with the public warehouses that are presented by customers or the customer order center.

* Monitor all shipments processed through EDI to ensure customers are invoiced for product shipped.

* Track all needed product in transit to the warehouses to ensure the product is received and unloaded in a timely manner, to include contacting both the warehouse and the carrier if needed.

* Provide technical support to warehouses as needed for commercial electric conversions.

* Must have excellent problem-solving skills.

* Must have excellent communication skills (written, oral, etc)

* High service oriented with experience working in a customer service environment

* Intermediate computer skills (Excel) (Will be assessed)

* Basic computer skills (Word) (Will be assessed)

* Basic Math Skills (Will be assessed)

* Ability to calculate and analyze collected data

* Demonstrated ability to work directly with third party warehouses to process for payment and resolve and warehouse bills or discrepancies

* Demonstrate ability to prepare monthly status reports for management

* Must be a team player

* History of regular and consistent attendance at work

* Must obtain Meets or Exceeds in all performance standards on current appraisal, if applicable

**WHAT YOULL DO**

* Process, file and resolve damage and loss claims with carriers, keep accurate and complete records, and issue monthly status report to management.

* Work directly with our third-party freight payment system to process carrier freight invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

* Work directly with our third-party warehouses to process for payment and resolve any and all discrepancies that arise concerning warehouse bills.

* Review, analyze, and act on plant LTL loads to utilize stop offs and optimize freight efficiency.

* Expedite and resolve any loads necessary to meet a customers needs and keep management apprised of any critical issues.

**WHAT YOU NEED**

**REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* Minimum of 24 months direct experience in distribution or inventory; or a combination of both

* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with numerous interruptions
