**Server (Drink Server)**
Food & Beverage Horton, Kansas Minimum Experience **Entry-level** Compensation **$5.50-$8.00 Hourly + Tips** ***$ 600 sign on bonus currently in effect for all new hires!***
Summary:
Servers are fast, friendly and fun. Servers must be outstanding conversationalists and always entertaining. Golden Eagle Casino Servers are skilled professionals and build loyalty with our guests. They consistently provide beverage service in a friendly, courteous and timely manner resulting in high guest satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order
* Use suggestive selling techniques
* Adhere to policies and procedures and health laws
* Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
* Order and serve cocktails to guests according to established guidelines
* Complete assigned side work
* Relay all guest compliments and complaints to the Food & Beverage Manager
* Prepare cash receipts at end of shift, returning balanced drawer to cage
* Maintain personal health (including hygiene), uniform appearance, and sanitation standards
* Maintain a clean, safe, hazard free work environment within area of responsibility
* Display strong work ethic and team work
* Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations
* Ensure current alcohol law are being followed
* Ensure prompt and discrete notification to management of any observance of illegal acts and / or internal ethics violation
* Perform other duties as assigned

General Qualifications:
* Ability to obtain and maintain license with Kickapoo Tribe Gaming Commission
* Ability to obtain and maintain certification following current Golden Eagle Casino Alcohol Service standards
* Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest and personal services; this includes guest needs assessment, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of guest satisfaction
* Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
* Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our gust want to return, giving each person a positive, memorable experience
* Be able to present an image of excitement and enthusiasm, while being able to project a professional appearance and demeanor.
* Ability to work at a fast pace in a confined area
* Ability to perform cash transactions accurately
* Must be able to deal effectively with other people both externally and internally and have strong oral communication and listening skills
Education and/or Experience:
* High School Diploma or GED preferred
* At least 6 months experience preferred
