Sales Manager


Job Details

We are seeking a Sales Manager to join our team at De Longhi North America. The successful candidate will have previous experience working with National Retailers, Home Shopping Networks, and/or retailers within our market with a proven track record of growing sales with existing customers, identifying opportunities, as well as developing new business. This role will be based in our Upper Saddle River, New Jersey office.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow the business with key customers by increasing sales, profitability, and brand exposure
  • Identify new customers and trade channels within the region
  • Work cross-functionally with the De Longhi Marketing team to ensure consistent retail and digital marketing standards are achieved, resulting in brand awareness
  • Evaluate sales metrics and forecast data, make recommendations accordingly to ensure proper levels of inventory
  • Monitor competitive information through store visits, trade publications, new product development data, and market analysis
  • Participate in trade and account shows to facilitate sales of products and gain brand exposure


Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of sales or account management experience
  • Bachelor s degree with a Business focus
  • Retail store account management experience
  • Familiar with managing rep firms
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and analytical/forecasting abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Applications
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
  • Ability to travel approximately 50%
