KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide timely and empathetic responses to consumer, retailer, and distributor inquiries across multiple communication channels for various brands, aiming to create exceptional and memorable interactions.
  • Make every customer and consumer touch point the very best experience they ever had.
  • Answer consumer questions relating to raw feeding, pet nutrition, and pet health.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to D2C order fulfillment, shipping, and returns.
  • Assist Business Operations team to coordinate order processing for multiple brands, including order entry, logistics arrangement, invoicing, and processing credits.
  • Maintain distributor and retailer relationships for accurate processing, suggesting alternative products for optimal shipping, providing timely updates on availability and shipment status, and resolving customer issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive SOP documentation and consumer response knowledgebases.


SUCCESS FACTOR SNAPSHOT

First 30 days:
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our organization, mission, culture, team, products and role expectations through company-paid on the job training.
  • Complete training in CRM system and assume responsibility for consumer response via email with oversight.
  • Begin training in ERP system to support order processing, with oversight.

First 60 days:
  • Complete training in ERP system to assume responsibility for full order processing, including order entry, invoicing, shipment assistance, and credit processing.
  • Complete training for knowledgebase and assume responsibility for one-to-one consumer response via eCommerce site(s) with oversight.

First 90 days:
  • Assume full responsibility for consumer responses via multiple channels.
  • Assume full responsibility for order processing to assist the business operations team where needed.

Ongoing:
  • Maintain and update SOP library and knowledgebase.
  • Keep current on order processing and provide support as needed.
  • 100% response rate to all D2C reviews and inquiries.
  • Report issues with regards to the food safety/quality assurance system (FSQA) to Leadership and adhere to the requirements of the FSQA standards.

Background check, pre-employment drug screen and industry non-compete are required. This position resides at our corporate office in Green Bay, WI; no relocation assistance available.

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or equivalent experience thereof.

Experience:
  • 1 year of experience in customer service role, including phone experience
  • External and internal customer service oriented and focused
  • eCommerce experience with Amazon and/or D2C beneficial, not required
  • Must have advance-level experience with social media, online support and email
  • Attention-to-detail a must
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Must have advanced computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft and Google suite applications.
