Job description
1. Part-time tutors must have knowledge of the subject they are applying for and be able to assist students with high school courses including, but not limited to:
- Math: Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus
- Science: Biology, Anatomy, Chemistry, Physics, Earth & Space
- History: World studies, American history, and American Government
- English: English Levels 1-4, Reading, Writing
- Spanish: Spanish Levels 1-4, Reading, Writing
2. Facilitate active tutoring sessions which include, but are not limited to: asking questions, drawing diagrams, creating flashcards, developing outlines, and encouraging reading.
3. Create and participate in ACT/SAT preparation, current Event Discussions, and workshops.
4.Available to work at least two days a week at Woodward High School or Wate High School during afternoon tutoring.
