**Desktop Support Specialist**
Lexington, MA / Information Technology / Full-time Curis is looking for an outstanding Desktop Support Specialist responsible for providing personable employee support, fulfilling requests, and resolving issues related to computer hardware and software applications.
**Principle Responsibilities for Desktop Support Specialist:** - Initial point of contact for all computer and software related issues from employees. - Conduct end-user support deskside, over the phone, or over remote access software. - Manage helpdesk ticket queue - Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external support providers. - Assist with administration of user accounts in a timely fashion. - Monitor and record daily activity related to backups, security and software updates. - Image and deploy Windows computers and mobile devices per company standards. - Participate in hardware evaluation and software testing. - Conduct technology training for end users. - Manage inventory of IT equipment and supplies. - Ensure strict adherence to procedures, policies, and guidelines. **Qualifications for Desktop Support Specialist:**
+ Bachelors degree in computer science or closely related degree.
+ No less than 3 years desktop support experience.
+ Ability to work onsite
+ Experience working with helpdesk ticketing system.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong technical troubleshooting skills
+ Experience working with and administering Microsoft 0365, Active Directory, Teams.
+ *Experience working within a lab environment and with research applications
+ Comfortable as a presenter with experience delivering end user training.
+ Experience working with scientific research applications
