**Job Description**
**Scope:**
To supportthe Expeditors facility in the pursuit of Warehouse Excellence by promoting a culture of safety and security in a facility that is efficient and meets high quality standards through continuous improvement and modernization.
**Responsibilities:**
* Loading and Offloading trucks
* Forklift Operation (sit down & stand up)
* Receiving Freight
* On-handing & Labeling Freight
* Staging Freight for outbound loading with accuracy and efficiency
* Showing up on time - reliability
* Warehouse cleanliness (floors, work areas, forklifts)
* Pallet re-building & re-work
**Facility Operations**
* Ensure a safe and secure work environment
* Maintain warehouse procedures and safety standards
* Maintain a clean and professional facility
* Ensure all equipment is maintained in a safe operational condition
**Operations and Quality**
* Following operational standards (OPS) and KPI expectations
* Improve safety, quality, delivery and cost through continuous improvement methods
* Maintain compliance to facility certification requirements and government policies
* Participate in transitioning new customers as needed
**Qualifications**
**Skills/Experience**
* Previous warehouse experience
* Previous forklift experience
* Solid written and verbal communication skills
* A positive attitude
* Punctual
* Work well in a team environment
