Job Overview
We are seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of experience in personal injury litigation and insurance defense to join our legal team. This is a full-time position offering a salary range of $100,000 - $125,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Prepare for and attend court hearings, trials, and depositions.
Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies.
Negotiate settlements and plea agreements on behalf of clients.
Review and analyze legal documents and contracts.
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
Skills
Strong legal drafting skills.
Proficient in legal administrative tasks.
Ability to litigate cases effectively in court.
Excellent research skills using Lexis-Nexis.
Strong negotiation skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Texas state bar association.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
