Pay starts at $22/hour for qualified tutors. Tutoring starts in May. This is an opportunity to tutor for consistent blocks of hours, earning a consistent paycheck.

In-person tutors needed to help high school students close proficiency gaps and gain credit hours. Tutoring will be conducted at a library in Indianapolis, tutoring nearly full days during the week.

College Tutors of Indiana is seeking experienced, reliable, and energetictutors who want to make a huge difference in the lives of these students. Tutors must have some experience teaching and/or tutoring, have a college degree, or be enrolled in college, and be reliable for tutoring throughout the semester

Bilingual tutors are especially needed!

Job Description:

• Work with students to help them pass tests in various subjects: math, language arts, and history.
• Communicates on a regular basis with College Tutors management as needed regarding student progress.
• Assists in the development of a positive attitude toward learning, studying and academics.
• Submits online/mobile timesheets and session notes (this is an extremely simple and short task) within 24 hours of completion of each session.
• Must pass a background check.
• Should have a natural passion for helping students find success.
• Reliable transportation is needed as this is an on-premises model.
• Reliability and consistency is absolutely essential to the success of this model and for the success of the students. Being prompt and reliable is a must. We have a blast in this business but we do not like to babysit.
