ABOUT THE ROLE

Holcim US, a leading supplier of quality, construction materials in the United States, has an

immediate opening for a Equipment Operator, to support operations at our Duquesne Slag Plant in

West Miffling, Pennsylvania. This position is responsible for operating loaders, dozers, excavators and haul

trucks or other large equipment used for paving or moving, grading and compacting earth, sand, gravel, stone

and/or asphalt materials. It also conducts routine daily inspections of equipment and maintains equipment in

a clean and safe manner.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

? Loads trucks, feeds bins with various aggregate material

? Maintains proper quantities of materials to be loaded

? Moves earth or other material from one location to another

? May perform paving/grading work.

? Keeps equipment clean and orderly.

? Performs daily pre and post-trip inspections on equipment to ensure safe operation.

? Ensures that safety, compliance, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.

? Performs other duties as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

? High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

? Minimum of two (2) years of experience running a rubber tire loader or similar equipment.

? Strong safety-orientation

? Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual preferred.

? Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and

environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit

these behaviors.

? Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved

Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable

law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal

meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
