Overall Position Summary and ObjectivesProvide

project/program/portfolio

management and reporting support under CIT's Business Transformation Office (BTO). This includes supporting the BTO's service functions of IT Governance, Portfolio Management and IT Acquisition Strategy and Planning (processes and deliverables). The work also includes business process reengineering and developing and maintaining portfolio level reporting on CIT's

projects/initiatives

and operational performance.

IT Governance Deliverables: IT Governance framework, processes, templates, reports, dashboards and business cases, presentations to Senior ManagementProject Management Deliverables: templates based on best practices, project plans, schedules, budget analysis, etc.IT Portfolio Management Deliverables: IT Portfolio Management Framework based on best practices, processes, reports, dashboards, cost analyses, presentations to Senior ManagementSupport the pilot of a PPM tool for

Support the development of governance processes to guide the submission of new project investment ideas, assess available funding from various funding sources, assess alignment to organizational strategy and goals and standardize reporting back to the executive sponsors

1Support the development of project program portfolio management processes to guide the execution of projects, identify potential cost savings, enable capacity planning and provide portfolio level reporting to CITs Portfolio Review Team

2Evaluate project cost and performance against metrics and report status and recommend corrective actions to project owners

3Review, evaluate and provide recommendations for improvement of enterprise resource planning and annual budget formulation

4Provide project management expertise to ensure accurate and consistent project monitoring and tracking to inform project owner decision making

5Develops project management documentation.Conduct staff interviews and discussions to determine the scope, purpose and objectives of projectPrepare project documentation to include charter, schedule, resource plans and budgetsCreates project in designated project management software and ensure all necessary staff have accessRecommend and support routine project management meetings, updates and prepare a variety of status reports and dashboardsAssist staff coordinate project management activities, to include routine meetings and development of reportsMonitors and reports progress to project
