Job Details

Job Summary: Sorting recyclablesalong with unacceptable waste materialfrom a consistently moving conveyor belt to designated areas. Some general cleaning will be performed to contribute to overall efficiency and cleanliness of the facility.

Primary Job Duties:

• sort recyclables and unwanted materials delivered to the facility
• communicate to supervisor if equipment is not working properly
• regularly required to use hands to handle material, as well as talk & listen to peers/supervisors
• accurately perform job duties as assigned

General Job Requirements:

• must follow safety protocols
• work well with others
• operate general materials
• ability to learn and follow rules
• utilize personal protective equipment where designated
• follow lifting protocols
• ability to stand, climb, walk, reach, crouch, stoop and kneel if needed
