Summary: As a program coordinator at Ada S. McKinley, responsibilities typically include overseeing the day-to-day operations of specific programs, coordinating services for clients, managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, developing and implementing program goals and objectives, monitoring program outcomes, liaising with stakeholders and community partners, and providing support and guidance to program participants. The coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and success of the program while maintaining a focus on the well-being and progress of the individuals served.

Supervises (Position Title): Residential Home Manager
Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
Coordinate and oversee the care plans for people with intellectual disabilities residing in the residential program. This includes assessing their needs, developing individualized care plans, and ensuring that appropriate services and support are provided to meet those needs.Supervise and train staff members working within the residential program, including DSPs and other support staff. Provide guidance, support, and ongoing training to ensure that staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively support people with intellectual disabilities.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies governing residential programs. This includes maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to licensing requirements, and implementing quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of care and safety.Advocate for the rights and well-being of people with intellectual disabilities within the residential program. Serve as a liaison between residents, their families, and external agencies or organizations to ensure that their voices are heard, their needs are addressed, and they have access to necessary resources and support services.
