We seek an experienced and highly motivated Program Manager to oversee and lead a large Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) contract for our Federal Customer. The ideal candidate will possess a strong project and program management background, focusing on data management and analytics. This role requires effective leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the EDW contract.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Contract Oversight:

  • Manage the overall execution of the EDW contract, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and assess project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including representatives from the United States Courts, to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.

Team Leadership:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of data engineers, analysts, and other professionals to achieve project milestones.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.

Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for the EDW contract, aligning project activities with long-term organizational goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management to enhance the EDW's effectiveness.

Budget and Resource Management:
  • Manage the program budget, including forecasting and tracking expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
  • Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and meet project milestones.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration).
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in program management, specifically overseeing large-scale data warehouse contracts.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles, ETL processes, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working within the public sector, especially with the United States Courts, is highly desirable.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Data Platforms, architecture and Environments; Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft
  • Proficiency in using data cataloging tools, with a preference for experience with Collibra.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and practices, with a focus on maintaining data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Experience in implementing data governance frameworks within large-scale data warehouse environments.
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools and platforms for project management, communication, and documentation.
  • Ability to leverage tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms to streamline project workflows.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
