Harbour Industries is hiring a Production Supervisor to join our production team! This is a full time, ONSITE role located in Shelburne, VT. This role reports to our production manager and operates on a 3rd shift schedule M-F11PM-7AM. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing day to day activities of direct and indirect production personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Follow through with production schedules provided by Cell Manager to ensure on time completion.
  • Reassign job assignments as needed
  • Assure that all production meets the highest possible quality level
  • Proper utilization of equipment
  • Enforce company rules and regulations
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Maintain a high level of employee morale, education, and training
  • Evaluates assigned personnel on performance evaluations in a timely and accurate manner with follow-up on performance correction as needed.
  • Disciplinary actions are followed up in a timely manner
  • Run production equipment during times of need (training provided).
  • Support and enforce workplace safety and health requirements.
  • Adherence to AS9100 requirements.
  • Perform duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years college education or equivalent wire and cable knowledge
  • Minimum one year production equipment experience
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills - both written or verbal
  • Prior supervisory experience a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a well-rounded interpersonal skill. Ability to foster a team environment among many people in a variety of departments and skill sets.


Minimum Qualifications (continued)
  • Flexibility of being able to work with various types of software to include Microsoft Office and ERP System.


Job Requirements
  • Must be able to comply with all company policies and Marmon policy manual.
  • Must be able to work with miscellaneous tools in support of job.
