DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This is a professional accounting position that works closely with the Fiscal Director to ensure compliance with all requirements of the fiscal operations of the Lebanon County Mental Health / Intellectual Disabilities / Early Intervention Program (MH/ID/EI). This position assists with the classification, analysis, recording, review, processing, controlling, preparation and maintenance of a variety of complex county, state, and federal fiscal accounting and banking records, financial statements and reports, and client accounts. Work is performed independently within established policies and procedures. This position is supervised by the MH/ID/EI Fiscal Director.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

* Full-time employment

* Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

* Remote work is not available for this position.

* Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

* One year as an Accountant II; or

* Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by 15 credits in accounting.

* Four years of bookkeeping experience and 18 college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation.

Other Requirements:

* This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
