Reports to: Maintenance Lead/Manager
Work Location: Old Fort, NC

We have an exciting opportunity at our Warrensburg, MO Facility for an A-player that is multi-faceted in the maintenance arena.The candidate must be shift-flexible, a problem solver, and a change agent who is excited about maintenance and taking it to the NEXT level. The Electrical Maintenance Technician position will be responsible for electrical, mechanical repair, and preventative maintenance of facility and plant equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:

  • Installation, troubleshooting & repair of low & high voltage (single/three phase) industrial electrical & control systems
  • Maintain wiring to NEC standards and ensure any new wiring is within compliance.Upgrade outdated or unsafe electrical installations across the plant
  • Responsible for electrical emergency & scheduled maintenance tasks across the plant
  • Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as relays, switches, transformers, motors, and sensors
  • Ensure assigned projects are completed timely, correctly, safely, and to the highest quality standard
  • Comply with plant safety, quality, GMPs, current standard practices, and all other plant rules, policies/procedures
  • Work from ladders, lifts, elevated places, and confined spaces as required
  • Daily handoff /communication with other shifts
  • Detail job status as appropriate to operators, management, and other maintenance personnel.
  • Submit requisitions for repair/replacement parts as necessary
  • Regular hours/shifts may vary as production and maintenance coverage needs dictate


Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing
  • Technical degree preferred
  • Advanced skills or trades training required
  • Must have previous electrical experience
  • Must be able to read, interpret, electrical prints, schematics & document
  • Must be able to use electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters
  • Must have knowledge of Industry standard motion sensing & control devices
  • Knowledge of DC & AC motors & drives
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, some welding experience, and electrical knowledge
  • PLC programming a plus
  • Fanuc robot programming a plus
