Required Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
3. Must maintain a California State EMT Certification at all times during employment and keep documentation on file with the department.
4. Must not have been convicted of any crime for which registration is required.

Physical Requirements:

1. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
2. Ability to subdue person(s), ability to run, climb stairs, sit, stand and walk for duration of shift. Ability to drag an unconscious person during an evacuation.
3. Acute sense of smell and sound, and the ability to communicate using a two-way radio and telephone.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
5. Further physical requirements include:

c. Walking
d. Bending/Lifting

Job Description

Position Summary:
Respond to all medical emergencies and provide emergency care to guests or Team Members until a physician or other qualified person assumes responsibility for the continuation of care. Performs all Security Officer duties. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Graton Resort Casino's culture and demonstrating Service Standards at all times.
2. Respond to all emergencies, provide emergency care utilizing EMT skills and training, including but not limited to CPR, AED, triage care, and communicate patient's care to responding medical personnel, monitor vital signs and apply dressings and compression.
3. Patrol and observe all public areas, Team Member service areas and Company grounds for the safety of guests and Team Members.
4. Respond to all disturbances in order to defuse the incident. Be prepared to become involved in a physical confrontation when necessary. Always remain alert.
5. Observe, report and take action as directed by the supervisor with respect to all suspicious, unusual situations.
6. Transport and protect Company funds.
7. Document all incidents as directed by the immediate supervisor.
8. Escort Team Members to and from their vehicles when requested. Jump-start guests' and Team Members' vehicles when needed.
9. Have working knowledge of, and enforce all applicable laws, policies and procedures.
10. Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
11. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
12. Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive work atmosphere.
13. Maintain grooming and uniform standards. Overall appearance is to be immaculate and nametags are to be worn at all times.
14. Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
15. Be aware of and handle guest opportunities.
16. May perform duties in other functional areas of the property.
17. Have thorough knowledge of all evacuation procedures for the property.
18. Maintain current State E.M.T. Certification.
