Medicare Collector
San Bernardino California
- Full life cycle Medical Billing position
- Compiling all necessary information by reaching out to departments (registration, HIM, etc.) to send the claim to the insurance payer.
- Responsible for handling claim denials - Get claim corrected, and rebill the claim
- Payment variance and credit balances - If Medicare overpays, they would need to issue credits to the payer.
3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications
- Experience working within EPIC
- Government payer knowledge
- Billing experience
Nice to Have Skills
- Excellent communication skills
Schedule/Shift
- M-Thr 8.5 hrs, Fri 6 hours
Pay:
$20 - $23 an hour (Dependant on experience)
