Plant Manager
Amotec has been retained on a search for a Plant Manager. This is a boots-on-the-ground leadership position with responsibility to lead, direct, and manage a large manufacturing site near Highland, IL. Our client is a global, publically traded manufacturer. The Plant Manager will report to the Director of Operations, holding responsibility for maintaining budgets, employee relations, quality, supply chain, materials and operations.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Manage an integrated manufacturing operation including Production, Engineering, Health Safety Environmental, Supply Chain and Quality, driving Corporate and Regional initiatives into the business
- Direct senior leadership, supervise hourly workforce, oversee budgets, drive KPIs while creating new business initiatives
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve profitable growth above market rates and support overall corporate objectives
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment, delivering results
The Ideal Candidate will have:
- BS in Business (Accounting/Finance) or Engineering is highly preferred
- 8+ years of manufacturing management and operations
- Experience in plastics/extrusion industry preferred
- Excellent communication, change management, employee relations and people skills
