Position: Town Manager


Overview: WolfCreek Consulting is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic individual to serve a Town Manager. The Town Manager is the chief administrative officer of the town and is responsible for the administration of all town affairs. This position reports directly to the Town Council and serves at the pleasure of the Town Council.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the laws and administer the government of the town, except as limited in the town Charter.
  • Prepare the annual budget and submit it to the Town Council.
  • Work closely with Chief of Police, Town Council and citizenry to achieve vision and goals within the city charter.
  • Prepare and submit an end-of-year report on the town s finances and administrative activities.
  • Keep the Town Council advised of the financial condition and future needs of the town.
  • Perform other duties as prescribed by the town Charter or as required by the Town Council.


Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Manager or possess, at minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in public administration or a related area.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage town operations and provide strategic guidance to the Town Council.
  • Experience in budget preparation and financial management.
  • Familiarity with local government operations and the ability to execute the laws and administer the town s government efficiently.



Additional Information:

  • The Town Manager need not be a resident of the town or Florida at the time of appointment.
  • Compensation for the Town Manager will be fixed by the Town Council and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
