Amscan is currently hiring for 3rd Shift Material Handlers. As a 3rd Shift Material handler, you will be responsible to pick pack customer orders, replenish primary locations, transport pallets and cross train in other departments. No experience necessary will train. Apply now and contact 845.###.####.
**Hours/Days:** Monday-Thursday 8:30pm-7:00am
**Position Details:**
* Pick and pack product customer orders.
* Must be able to work in elevated area up to four levels high.
* Operate OSR retrieval system
* Work with a conveyor system
* Safely use a cutter to remove flaps and open cartons with product inside.
* Pick full carton orders for Pick Pack Department.
* Pick from reserve to replenish primary locations.
* Transport pallets of merchandise to and from reserve locations.
* Transport all merchandise received into warehouse from receiving dock to reserve locations.
* Transfer merchandise from location to location to make space (re-warehousing).
* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
* Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety complying with OSHA Standards including daily check list prior to operating machine.
**Physical Demands:**
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, push, reach with hands and arms. Employee must be able to walk up and down several flights of stairs to get to work areas. Vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to distinguish red from green. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 15 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 35 pounds, and rarely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
**Other Duties:**
As workloads fluctuate, cross-training/rotating to other departments within the facility will occur as needed. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
