Forklift Driver/Material Handler in Stokesdale , North Carolina Material Handlers are integral warehouse workers. The main material handler duties revolve around placing incoming orders on shelves and picking merchandise according to specific customer requirements. As a Material Handler, youll also monitor inventory and communicate any shortages.Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and productsMove materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areasIdentify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory utilizing scannersPrepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading themOperate reach trucks, forklifts, clamps, and other equipment to move freightOrganize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, etc.Perform and report cycle countsComply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines
