We are currently seeking a big box Senior Construction Manager to oversee retail-focused ground-up projects within an esteemed real estate development team based in Houston, renowned for its commitment to innovation, diversity, and excellence. Our client possesses a diverse portfolio and is led by visionary leadership dedicated to driving forward bold development, redevelopment, and acquisition initiatives. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, and will demonstrate expertise in managing complex retail construction projects from inception to completion.
In the role of Senior Construction Manager, you will be instrumental in directing the execution of multiple large-scale projects concurrently, typically ranging from 5 to 6 projects. This will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers. Your responsibilities will include maintaining project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, as well as effectively managing and resolving construction-related challenges. Regular project updates will be provided to senior leadership and stakeholders, while fostering a culture of safety, excellence, and innovation within the construction team.
