Fierce Foundry is launching this June and looking for a stellar intern to learn what it is like to make history! This role will support our team in all efforts to promote Fierce Foundry in addition to the project management for adding new founders, investors, partners and coaches.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Startup Ecosystem Insights:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of startup dynamics, including ideation, validation, and scaling.
- Understand the femtech sector's unique challenges, opportunities, and market trends.
- Explore the role of venture studios in nurturing and accelerating startup growth.
Technical Proficiency:
- Master productivity tools such as Notion for collaborative documentation and project management.
- Develop proficiency in Asana for task tracking and project organization.
- Learn effective communication and collaboration using Slack and other communication platforms.
Project Management Skills:
- Acquire hands-on experience in project management, from setting objectives to tracking progress and meeting deadlines.
- Learn to prioritize tasks, allocate resources efficiently, and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Gain insights into agile methodologies for iterative project development and continuous improvement.
External Communication and PR:
- Enhance communication skills through regular interaction with stakeholders, including founders, investors, and industry experts.
- Participate in crafting press releases, social media content, and other PR materials to promote Fierce Foundry and its portfolio companies.
- Learn strategies for building and maintaining positive relationships with external partners, media outlets, and the broader startup community.
What You ll Need
- Rockstar project management skills/abilities
- Exceptionally organized and on top of it
- Some experience working in G Suite, Asana, Slack, and Notion - or the ability to pick up new tools/technology quickly
- Proven work experience OR true startups and female founders
- Proven ability to juggle multiple projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening and presentation abilities
- Demonstrable proactive and critical thinking skills and asks lots of questions
- Currently matriculating

About Fierce Foundry
We are Femtech Venture Studio with a mission to reduce and equalize the global deficit in funding for women by creating investability for Femtech founders from idea to exit. We will co-found these startups and provide founders with initial seed investment, all resources for product and business development, support for later-stage fundraising, and everything needed in exit. By standing with Femtech founders from start to finish in a model that statistically performs better than traditional venture or accelerator programs, we will build companies that not only improve the lives of women, but create a new investment flywheel for female founders.
