The Senior Cost Accountant will play a crucial role in the monthly closing process and assist in preparing the Company s SEC filings. Responsibilities include applying accepted accounting principles, analyzing financial information, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reports. Successful candidates must excel in time management, demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, and maintain honesty, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.
Essential Job Functions:
- Participate in various aspects of the monthly/quarterly closing process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with consolidations, inter-company transactions, and reconciliations, including foreign currency accounting.
- Aid in preparing and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including Form 8-K, 10-Q, 10-K, and other filings.
- Produce clear and organized work papers to support the Company s SEC filings.
- Assist with year-end audits and perform special projects as needed.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in accounting.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with Public Accounting experience required.
- Exceptional organizational skills and verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and solid analytical skills are essential.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
Compensation: $85,000 - $120,000
