Job Title: Java Technical Lead
Location: Cincinnati, OH/Onsite (5 days/week)
Position type: Contract
This role requires proficiency in containerization, Git, Java, Microservices and Spring Boot. It's nice to have experience with Amazon Elastic Container Service, AWS, and OpenShift.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Expertise in Java/Spring Boot, with experience in Java 17+.
- Experience in REST API development.
- Familiarity with containerization.
- 10 + years of experience
- Knowledge of software development best practices.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Understanding of software development methodologies.
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in development using OSX.
- Proficiency in Unit Testing with JUnit.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with 12-factor applications.
- Microservices development using Node/ExpressJs.
- Knowledge of AWS and familiarity with Elastic Container Service (ECS).
- Experience in greenfield application development.
- Proficiency with Terraform.
- Configuration and tuning of Tomcat Embedded.
- Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
- Knowledge of OpenShift.
