As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at iApartments, you will play a key role in driving the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and initiating sales conversations with potential clients. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with prospects to ultimately work the sales executives to convert them into clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development within a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify potential leads through research, outreach, and networking.
  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and other forms of outreach to engage with prospects and introduce them to our products/services.
  • Understand and articulate the value proposition of our offerings to prospects.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or product demonstrations between prospects and sales representatives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system. (Salesforce)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools is a plus.
  • Passion for technology and willingness to learn about our products/services.
