Atchison Public Schools is accepting applications for Summer Maintenance Staff. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Hours: 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
Summer: May 28 - August 9- 2024
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Work independently without supervision
* Some computer skills may be required
Responsibilities
* Routine repairs and painting at all district facilities for preparation of the 2022-2023 school year
* Routine maintenance and improvement projects on district grounds
* Mowing- trimming- and watering of district grounds
* Helping with the necessary moving/lifting (up to 75 lbs.) of district furniture and equipment in all district facilities in order for summer cleaning
* Position works both indoors and outdoors (in heat conditions)
* Pickup Truck Driving - Trailer Towing Experience helpful
