Job Responsibilities

A Teacher's Aide will work in the program under the guidance and instruction of teachers. Responsibilities include assisting lead staff in maintaining a safe and developmentally appropriate classroom environment, implementing a fun and engaging curriculum, and fostering positive relationships with children, parents, and the school community. Expected job hours are 2:00-5:30pm Monday-Friday.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Pass a YMCA Background Check
• Current enrollment in the Oregon State Childcare Registry or ability to enroll prior to employment for those 18 and older.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• At least 15 years of age

Salary Description

$17.00-$19.00/hr
