ANNUAL SALARY: $48,846
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in operating tandem trucks, snow plows, motor graders, dozers, and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Class B driver's license, with the ability to obtain Class A within one year of hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to accurately and clearly complete required paperwork.
DESIRED/PREFERRED
Familiar in area of diesel mechanics, hydraulic and electrical components of engines, welding and fabrication.
JOB DUTIES
Operate a variety of construction equipment, including backhoes, dozers, loaders, motor graders, tandem axle trucks, snowplows, and other equipment used in maintaining and constructing rural roads.
Perform a variety of manual labor activities in repairing roads and bridges.
This job requires prolonged standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
