Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Summer Camp Head Cook at Mt. Gilead Camp & Conference Center. The Head Cook will be responsible for planning and preparing meals for campers and staff, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety. They will manage the kitchen staff and coordinate meal schedules and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

• Experience in meal planning and preparation
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
• An understanding of dietary restrictions and ability to accommodate them
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Experience working in a camp or retreat setting is a plus
• Culinary degree or certification is preferred
