Our ideal candidate would have the following traits:

  1. Incredible communication skills. Between Ranch ownership, Operations managers, our partners in each space and employees, there are a lot of people to communicate with and we feel it's vital to have clear lines of open and honest communication between all parties to work together well.
  2. Proactive problem-solving skills. Being able to adapt and learn on the fly when engaging with the daily challenges that restaurants throw at you while keeping a cool head will help you excel in this position.
  3. A knack for organization. Staying clean and organized really helps keep food quality up, waste down and employees sane. Building systems of clear expectations, organization and workflow are super important to be able to keep up with the demand while keeping costs down.
  4. A good palate and a passion for food. Pizza is about 70% baking, and we take great pride in our dough process. Even if our ideal candidate doesn't have pizza experience, they should have the desire to learn and even want to improve the process. Flavor is the key that sets us apart and knowing what good food tastes like is very important.
  5. A little hustle and the ability to laugh it off. We started making pizza because it was fun. We realize this is just a job, but we want someone who wants to be here and feel good about the work they put in. Happy employees make good pizza and having a positive attitude and motivational outlook really helps this process.

Pay starts at $18/hr, with tips split evenly between BOH and FOH. These typically range between $8-$12/hr. There s a 90-day review period and we offer subsidized health insurance for full-time employees after 60 days.
