Duties & Responsibilities - Read and interpret project specifications/plans
- Project layout per architectural plans, designs and specifications
- Assist Project Foreman with scheduling work and punch list items
- Assembly of pre-engineered steel buildings
- Install steel and wood stud framing
- Install windows/doors, trim interior and exterior
- Layout and installation of acoustical ceiling track and tile
- Complete punch list items and troubleshoot if needed
- Safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers
- Lead by example with a positive attitude, proper PPE, and safe work practice
- Maintain a clean job site (clean up construction debris and sweep floors)
Requirements - Must be reliable and must show up on time
- Regular attendance of 8-10 hour day shifts Monday-Friday
- Knowledge and understanding of general construction and terminology
- Knowledge and understanding the use of carpentry tools and equipment
- Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and person growth
- Must be highly detailed with excellent organization skills
- Must have the ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems
- Must possess a positive attitude towards project challenges
- Must have effective time management and logical decision-making ability
- Must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to handle pressure, and meet deadlines
- Must possess physical, mental and emotional fitness
- Must be able to manage heights while working on ladders and lifts
- Must have the ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards
- Must be able to work as a team and be a team leader
- OSHA 10-hour card preferred
