Job Summary
The Camp Cook will be responsible for meeting all of the dietary needs of the campers and staff at Harbour Ridge Camp during the weeks of camp. This will include:
Meal and snack planning
Ordering food and supplies
Meal and snack preparation and serving
Maintaining health and cleanliness standards of kitchen and dining hall
Requirements
The Camp Cook will be required to have extensive cooking experience for large groups and at a minimum a valid Food Handlers Certificate.
The Camp Cook will be expected to work a unique schedule as follows:
Week 1: July 4 July 8 9:00am 5:00pm
Week 2: July 11 July 15 7:00am 7:00pm
Week 3: July 18 July 22 - OFF
Week 4: July 25 July 29 7:00am 7:00pm
Week 5: August 1 August 5 OFF
Week 6: August 8 August 12 7:00am 7:00pm
Week 7: August 15 August 19 9:00am 5:00pm
Week 8: August 22 August 29 - OFF
$600/week (including OFF weeks) + accommodation & meals (if required, during camp weeks)
The Camp Cook will report to the Camp Director.
NOTE:
All positions (18 years or older) at Harbour Ridge Camp will be required to obtain a Criminal Record check and will be required to agree and adhere to the Free Methodist Church in Canada Statement of Faith.
