Job Summary

The Solution Architect is a key member of the ServiceNow implementation project team and is responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping client business requirements from the project team to systems/technical requirements. The Solution Architect works as a team member along with the Project Manager, Technical Architect and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

Major Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to provide technical product and architecture advice, on-going communication of the latest ServiceNow solutions/capabilities, and assisting build practices that deliver exceptional outcomes. This position requires a hands-on person capable of going wide and deep on solution design.

Responsibilities:

Provide subject matter expertise and perspective on unique use cases and be able to convey enterprise architecture knowledge/experience regarding how ServiceNow can best interoperate and co-exist with other major enterprise systems of record and platforms

Drive innovative business solutions and digital transformation

Architect and develop innovative solutions in collaboration with a cross-functional team

Consult with stakeholders to understand their business needs and pain points

Document and present technical solutions

Provide mentoring to colleagues in the organization

Contribute to and help keep internal forums and asset libraries to enable innovation at scale

Interact with the wider ServiceNow community as a thought leader on innovative ways to leverage ServiceNow

Educational & Professional Qualifications

Bachelor/B-Tech/B-E

Experience

8+ years of experience.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Solution Architect

3+ years of experience architecting and delivering complex solutions across all workflows, on the ServiceNow Platform

2+ years of detailed subject matter expertise within multiple areas of specialization

Experience facilitating client-facing workshops to successfully progress initiatives into the next phase of their lifecycle

Fluency in third party integrations using web services, JDBC, and file-based parsers

Functional comprehension of SQL and database concepts

Fluency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap

Ability to quickly understand new technology through instruction and self-training

Strong people development skills, including coaching and mentoring for technical roles

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Travel Requirements: Occasional business travels requested

Functional/Domain Knowledge

Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture as well as experience managing expectations and priorities

Exposure to Cloud technologies desired

Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities

Should have participated in, and be familiar with project methodologies

Strong ITIL V3 knowledge (Minimum ITIL foundation certification preferred)

Proven Solutions consulting experience

Background and deep experience with ServiceNow are mandatory with accreditations covering the full range of ServiceNow products

Experience as a developer is must.

Engaging presentation style, with the ability to control and manage multiple presentation scenarios

Ability to work under pressure and work on multiple campaigns at the same time

Excellent English Communication/Presentation skills (Oral & Written)
