Position Overview
This person is responsible for safe delivery and application of PHC services, including, but not limited to defensive driving of a PHC vehicle, monitoring pests, and application of pesticides. The PHC Specialist is under direct supervision of the Plant Health Care Manager.
Specific Duties
PHC Technician training generally includes but is not limited to:
- tree problems including abiotic and construction injuries, diseases, insect infestations and other pests.
- and following plant solution mixing and application guidelines, PPE selection and the proper protocol for usage.
- with arborists and clients to ensure plant health and customer satisfaction
- a safe and controlled work environment by adhering to company safety policies and state and local regulations.
