**Overview:** The primary responsibility of the Inventory Reconciler is to perform/verify daily cycle counts and make system adjustments as necessary. They will also perform analysis of errors, determine root cause[s] and suggest changes in methods or practices to prevent further occurrences.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Perform/verify daily cycle counts and make system adjustments as necessary
* Conduct all special inventories as required
* Conduct, as necessary, any search to locate products lost within the system or locations.
* Perform analysis of errors, determine cause[s]
* Document processes and suggest changes in methods or practices to prevent further occurrences
* Develop plans for special projects to improve inventory accuracy and improve process flow
* Conduct cycle count variance reconciliation activity
* Give guidance to other Asurion departments on physical material movement and processes
* Audit transaction-processing activity in DAX
* Log cycle count and reconciliation data in Excel and create charts and reports
* Coordinate cycle counts to specified requirements
* Conduct meetings with area owners to discuss cycle count accuracy
* Lead a team to execute special projects as needed
* Develop accuracy improvement work-plans, assist in improving transaction timeliness and reconciling system fall-outs
* Develop training documents and mentor material handling personnel on proper procedures
* Perform a leadership role in physical inventories and special projects
* Assist in inventory related systems development and testing
* Any other duties as assigned by management
**What Youll Bring to the Team:**
* High School degree with some college classes preferred
* Experience with logistics, cycle count or reconciliation required
* Must be able to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, etc.)
* Must be organized and manage time efficiently
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills are necessary
* Strong interpersonal, teamwork and collaboration skills including excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
* Must be able to interpret accuracy related performance reports and develop related corrective action activity
* Experience in analyzing business processes and recommending improvements to management
* Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong Excel preferred; Access experience preferred
* Must have knowledge of WMS and inventory systems; Axapta preferred
* Experience in interacting with other internal departments
* ISO 9001:2000 experience preferred
* Must work well with peers, superiors and subordinates
* Must be able to train others
* Ability to perform basic mathematic functions, such as counting, addition, and multiplication
