The Opportunity


The Clinical Data Scientist is skilled in clinical operations but has an analytical mind and loves digging into data. They enjoy reading protocols and thrive in an environment where they can help a client overcome a problem by providing a data driven solution. This person is naturally a critical thinker and project manager. The Clinical Data Scientist is outgoing and confident but approachable, someone who thrives in client relations.


What you ll be doing:


  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on the design, build, and successful implementation of dashboards, reports and data visualizations for clinical trials.
  • Apply your knowledge and expertise in clinical trials to collect and interpret requirements and specifications and document them.
  • Participate in the testing and validation of dashboards and visualizations to ensure accuracy.
  • Apply your curiosity and knowledge to recognize signals and trends in the collected data (i.e. adverse events, concomitant medications, dosing compliance).
  • Assist clinical operations study teams in the implementation of the dashboards and visualizations and aid them in developing actionable follow ups.
  • Maintain relationships with users and provide high quality, consultative support throughout the study.
  • Contribute your knowledge and expertise to support marketing initiatives for our data reporting tool and service.
  • Collaborate with team members on the development and implementation of operational documents and training materials.
  • You will have the opportunity and responsibility of implementing training workshops and administering adhoc training sessions with clinical operations team members as needed.

What we are looking for in a candidate:


  • Bachelor's degree preferably in a health sciences or analytics discipline
  • Prior experience in clinical operations and or data management
  • Strong knowledge of Data Management and EDC Programming
  • Strong critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
  • Strong proficiency with understanding clinical data structures and relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and unique data collection
  • Strong knowledge on data integration, analysis of data, and presentation of results
  • Strong productivity, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written), with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships
  • Strong time-management, flexibility, and multitasking ability
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and GCPs and their application to clinical trials
  • Ability to travel occasionally
