Summary :
The Manager, ThedaCare At Work is accountable for day-to-day operations including implementation of action plans, work processes, scheduling, and resource management to carry out strategy, policy, and direction. The job manages the ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions. Is accountable for driving excellence throughout the assigned area. Serves as a partner of the leadership team and participates in the strategic planning and the attainment of goals. Understands the business of ThedaCare At Work, recognizes the importance of the employer relationship to ThedaCare, and aligns the work.

Job Description:

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Effectively manages team members in a manner consistent with ThedaCare policies and values. Ensures the recruitment and retention of competent team members to meet the needs of the business operations of the department.
  • Is accountable for daily activities and work processes that result in quality outcomes.
  • Oversees and ensures accuracy of time and attendance and payroll practices.
  • Manages and develops supervisors, leads, and other team members to drive excellence throughout the assigned area including service delivery, quality, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Advises, consults, and serves as a member of the leadership team in the development and execution of short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on division goals, acquisitions, strategic planning, and growth objectives. Creates performance metrics, reporting, and improvement targets to align with strategic initiatives.
  • Develops performance expectations, and coaches, evaluates, and motivates team members. Investigates complaints and performance concerns.
  • Exemplifies and sustains mission, vision, and values while keeping focus on team member engagement, process improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, customer service, and workplace safety.
  • Serves as a resource and facilitates integration and collaboration between team members and other healthcare disciplines throughout ThedaCare and within the healthcare community. Performs in a client relations role, consulting with employers and ensuring customer satisfaction with services while maintaining a profitable status.
  • Manages projects and analyzes data to support evidence-based decision making regarding product line development, fee code pricing and analysis, profitability/ROI, financial forecasting/budgeting and monitoring, facilities planning and maintenance, software systems, employer client relations, and vendor relations.
  • Aligns and prioritizes department action plans with the division and overall system.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five years of progressive responsibility in a leadership position
  • Three years of leadership experience to include leading teams and/or projects


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance
  • Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties


WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Normally works in climate controlled office environment
  • Frequent sitting with movement throughout office space
